Privacy Statement

Cox & Company believes that service to the client, and the protection of their interests is the most vital component of any business, and the responsible use and protection of our customers' personal information has always been of primary concern to our firm. Our privacy policy adheres to the guidelines of the Certified General Accountants Association Code of Ethics and to the federally legislated Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, and is designed to provide our clients with the highest possible degree of privacy protection and confidentiality.

It is the nature of our business that we require sensitive information from our clients, and any information we collect is solely for the purpose of preparing personal and corporate income tax returns, processing payroll, preparing government remittances, facilitating tax and financial planning, designing business plans and preparing financial statements. Any such information will be used only for the purposes for which it was collected, and will be provided to government organizations, financial institutions or to other parties as requested by the client, or as required by law.
